How does it work? Laybuy performs a credit check to obtain a credit score on all new users upon registration. Once your credit score has been confirmed and your account has been verified, Laybuy assigns you a Laybuy limit and you can begin shopping immediately.
How do repayments work? The first payment is equal to one sixth of the total purchase price. The remaining 5 payments are processed over the following 5 weeks on the selected payment day, from your nominated card.
Am I eligible for Laybuy? If you are 18yrs & over, have a NZ mobile number, NZ post code and a debit or credit card you are eligible to use Laybuy.
Does Laybuy have fees? Laybuy doesn‘t charge you any interest or upfront fees. If you miss a payment you will be notified immediately. A late payment fee of $10 may be charged in respect of each payment you fail to make on time.
How do refunds work? Refunds are processed according to the standard refund policy of Team Rhapsody.
Can I buy an item that is more expensive than my account limit? Yes, with Laybuy Boost! You can spend more than your Laybuy limit when you pay the difference up front as your initial payment. For example, if you have a limit of $120 and want to purchase an item for $200, you will be charged your limit excess (in this case $80), at the till. The remaining amount (in this case, $24 per week) will be split over the remaining 5 weeks of payments and process as any other Laybuy payment.
How do I use Laybuy at Team Rhapsody? Laybuy can be used for both in-store and online purchases at Team Rhapsody!.

What is Afterpay? Afterpay lets you receive your purchases now and pay for them in four equal installments over six weeks. Interest-free.
How does it work? Afterpay performs a credit check to assess your eligibility. If approved, you’ll be able to start shopping immediately. Note that approval decisions are made by Afterpay, and may be subject to specific criteria.
How do repayments work? Your purchase cost is split into four equal payments. The first payment is due at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments scheduled every two weeks. Payments are automatically deducted from your nominated card.
Am I eligible for Afterpay? To be eligible, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid debit or credit card
- Have a verifiable email and phone number
- Meet additional requirements as determined by Afterpay
